Macon SWCD Cost Share

Cost Share docket for the Macon County Soil and Water Conservation District

The MCSWCD pays 60% cost share up to $5000.00 for:

• Grassed Waterways: Cost share covers earthwork, seedbed preparation, tile, mulching and netting.

• Structures: Block and Rock Chutes, concrete or pipe drop structures.
•  
• Terraces/Diversion: Cost share covers earthwork, inlets and tile.
•  
• Nutrient Management Plan: 10 acre minimum and 200 acre maximum. $7.00 per acre and $3.00 per acre for (plan preparer)
•  
• Well Decommissioning (well sealing): The MCSWCD pays 60% cost share up to $300.00 for well sealing's Bored or Drilled wells can be sealed.
